Wilson Construction, acting as Construction Manager, will be accepting competitive sealed proposals for: IDEA Public Schools Waters Edge Phase I Waters Edge Rd. San Antonio, Texas Scope of work: All building trades* *Except Sitework, Erosion Control and Structural Steel Proposal documents may be viewed at: The office of D. Wilson Construction, www.dwilsonconstruction.com, and www.virtualbx.com By submitting a proposal, each sub-proposer represents that he has read and understands the bid documents, has visited the site and is familiar with the site and local conditions under which the work is to be performed and that his proposal is based upon materials, equipment and all requirements to execute this portion of the work as required by the plans and specifications, without exception. Subcontractors requiring clarification or interpretation of the proposal documents must submit written requests at least five days prior to the bid date. A pre-proposal conference will be held on July 21, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at the San Antonio office of D. Wilson Construction. Sub-proposers are encouraged to attend. Sub-proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. July 23, 2015. Sub-proposals are to be delivered to the office of D. Wilson Construction, 12051 Starcrest Dr. San Antonio, Texas 78247 via hand delivery or email rweldon@dwilsonconstruction.com Proposals received after the deadline may be rejected. All sub-proposals will be considered as competitive sealed proposals. The Construction Manager, Owner and Architect will evaluate the proposals and select the best value to the project. Evaluations will be based upon price, experience, bonding ability, completeness of the proposal and the proposer's ability to meet the construction schedule. The Construction Manager, Owner and Architect are not bound to the lowest proposal price. The Construction Manager, Owner and Architect reserve the right to reject any bid that does not conform to the bidding documents, that is incomplete, irregular, or is in any way not responsive. A construction schedule will be made available to sub-bidders. Proposals must be based upon following the preliminary schedule at a minimum. No overtime compensation will be paid to subcontractors. Subcontractors must provide as a minimum, all insurance requirements included in the bid documents.
